We believe that God wants us to know him.  God has shown us who he is perfectly through the person of Jesus Christ, his Son, who is now at work in the world through the Holy Spirit.  We, as Christians, can know him in a personal way and experience his life-giving presence and power in our lives.  Our love for him is shown as we delight to be with him and do what he commanded us to do. 

Jesus' lifestyle had a 3 way focus: three basic dimensions that we describe as UP, IN and OUT:

UP - Identity defined by time spent in intimate relationship with the Father.

IN - Relationships defined by a community following together after God.

OUT - Purpose defined by a lifestyle that makes a difference in the world.

As church we seek to have the same focus as Jesus.  We believe strongly in meeting together and so we have a weekly programme of 'life groups' meeting on different days and at different times.  We also have a number of weekly activities for all ages designed to bless our community.
We meet as all ages to worship God each Sunday at 10.15am in Langdon Square Community Centre, just off Newham Way, Coulby Newham.
We pray you would know the love God has for you and the abundant life he wants to give you through Jesus.

Is there more to life? Alpha Course, to explore what life is all about.

We have an Alpha Course coming up in January, starting on Wed 18th and then every Wednesday night for 10weeks. The Alpha course is open to everyone intrested in discovering what Christianity is about. Its a place where people can come, relax, eat, share thoughts and explore the meaning of life. Please could you think about who you could invite. Do you know someone at work or home who would like to come and explore Christianity.

Please get praying for this event, hosted jointly by Coulby Newham Baptist Church, Middlesbrough Community Church and The Christian Centre Middlesbrough. Each meeting will be held at The St Aidan's Centre, Clifton Street, Middlesbrough, TS1 4NA.

We cant wait to see how God could use this course to introduce Himself to people.
